Course Information
Saturday is the single ski day and Sunday is the double ski and relay day. All races will start and finish at Crissy Field in San Francisco (webcam). This venue offers awesome views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco skyline.
Due to some variables with other events going on in this part of San Francisco Bay that weekend, the final courses cannot be set at this time, but it is most likely that both the short and long course races will go around Alcatraz Island. The long course on Saturday will continue out under the Golden Gate Bridge to the ocean.

**READ THIS:
It is the responsibility of each racer to determine for themselves of they have the skills and conditioning required to compete in the long or short course. You should take this responsibility seriously. Do not place yourself and others at risk by entering this race if it is beyond your level of skill or conditioning. There will be safety boats on the water during the races. If a safety boat is required to rescue you or feels the need to closely monitor you, then you are taking that safety boat away from the rest of the race course and the rest of the racers...putting everyone at additional risk. Always keep in mind that weather and water conditions can change rapidly. If you determine during a race that you are at risk, you should abandon the race and head toward the finish. Inform the race staff in the finishing area that you have abandoned the race. Each racer should attend the pre-race meeting. Due to changes in weather and course conditions, the course may change the day of the race and/or during a race. Each racer should carry the required safety gear.
